What services do we offer?

Well, we like to think that we can help you in most areas of the building trade. We guarantee all our work to be carried out to the highest standards and give cover with our guarantee of workmanship. Further details can be supplied on request. Should there be any area in which we are unable to help, we will be more than happy to point you in the right direction, or refer you to an expert in that field (Our tradesman comply to the new competent person scheme due to the new rules starting 1st Jan 2005 for electrical safety in the home).

For your reference, here is a list of some of the areas in which we can help you:

Fitting Kitchens and Bathrooms, Tiling Floors and Walls, Plumbing, Electrics, Carpentry, Painting and Decorating (interior and exterior), Wallpaper Hanging, Plastering, Rendering, Concreting, Screeding, Fitting Guttering, Fitting uPVC Fascias, Repointing Brickwork, Fixing and Replacing Missing or Damaged Roof Tiles, Laying Patios, Laying Concrete Paths and Drives

What about the cost?

Well, we like to think that we're both affordable and flexible. For example, we often source the materials and buy on account which means that you do not have to pay us anything until the job is finished. It also means that we can extend any discount from suppliers to you - however, we do always reserve the right to ask you to pay for materials. In addition, we can work for you on a daily rate basis or for a fixed price. For your reference, we find that much of our work is carried out on a daily rate basis because everybody knows where they stand.

Daily rates

Painting & decorating, £120 per day
General building & maintenance work £140 per day
Labourer £80 per day

Please note that this is based on 8 hours work if the job takes less time, the rate will be reduced pro-rata. A labourer is where an extra pair of hands might be required to perform certain jobs like holding, carrying, mixing etc.

Removing of rubbish

Generally, on small jobs we will remove all rubbish. However on larger jobs, or if there is a lot of building rubble, we recommend using a skip (which we can order on your behalf and arrange the necessary permit at a small extra cost). Alternatively, we can remove the rubble and take it to a tip for you - however, the cost of disposal of building rubble to a council tip is approx £80.00 per load plus labour.
